Recent Club Successes at Open Events

RG65 French Nationals 23rd to 25th September 2022

Firstly, many congratulations to Graham Elliott for winning the recent RG65 French Nationals.  A tricky 3 heat event at a coastal venue of VRC Voile Radiocommandée à ANTIBES. After 13 races over two and half days of racing, Graham (Electronica) took top place on the podium with 40 points, with Matteo Longhi (Skinny) in second on 43.6 points and Victor Izquierdo (Uno) in third on 54 points.

DFTT Rounds 11 (DF65) and 12 (DF95) at Fleetwood 24th and 25th September 2022

The DF65 event was sailed in a light NE breeze using A+ rigs and won by John Tushingham with top placed club sailors John Brierley second, David Potter 5th and Peter Baldwin 8th.

The DF95 event started in a light NW breeze with A rigs and this built during the day to end in C rigs.  John Tushingham again won the event, with best placed  club sailors John Brierley 3rd, David Potter 4th and Peter Baldwin 5th, with these three separated by only 3 points.
