10R UK Nationals Day 2

Not much time for a report, but suffice to say it was wet, wet, wet.  But there was a good breeze of 10 to 20 knots from an ESE direction, which shifted around a bit during the day as the fronts went through.  We did see a small rainbow, during the early sunny period that lasted for a minute and then was replaced by rain.

Here are the overall results with an emphatic win from James Edwards in first, David Potter from Birkenhead in second and Henning Faas from Germany in third.

Open Events at Birkenhead and West Kirby

The Open Events being run by Birkenhead are now all open for entry on the MYA website.  In date order they are:

  1. DF Racing Traveller Rounds 5 & 6, April 27th/28th @ Birkenhead
  2. RG65 Traveller Round 3, May 11th @ Birkenhead
  3. 10R Nationals, Thursday & Friday 18th/19th July at West Kirby Marine Lake
  4. M Nationals, Saturday & Sunday 20th/21st July at West Kirby Marine Lake

10r Worlds

Congratulations to Brad Gibson on retaining his 10r World Championship Crown at Biblis in Germany.

Christofe Boisnault (FRA) took second place and Mateo Longhi (ITA) third.

This Monday sees the start of the Marblehead World Championship at the same venue, where Brad will be joined by fellow club members Martin Roberts and Bill Culshaw. That event can be followed here

RM and 10R World Championships

With the RM and 10R World Championships over, Brad Gibson has now added both of these to his ever expanding list of titles for the year.

Congratulations are also due to Martin Roberts and Dave Potter for their excellent results in these competitions.
