Further Fixture Changes

West Kirby Practice Sessions
With the IOM Nationals less than 2 weeks away, Graham Elliott has organised 2 practice sessions at West Kirby for club members.
These will take place on Sunday 21st August at noon, and on Wednesday 24th August at 5pm.
Meet on the apron at the club end of the lake.
Important – Fixture Change
The 10r racing scheduled for 13th August will now be moved to the 24th September and replaces the “All in day”. *** As of 19th August, now revised again, check calendar for latest details
13th August will now be IOM racing to allow 2 IOM weekends in the run-up to the Nationals.
Potential IOM practice session at West Kirby
If any club members are interested in taking part in a pre-nationals IOM practice session at West Kirby, Graham Elliott is considering organising something.
There are 2 potential times, around midday on Sunday 21st August and around 5pm on Wednesday 24th August.
Please email Graham (details on contact page) if you are interested in either or both of these sessions. They will only go ahead if there is sufficient interest to justify running them.
And the winner is….
No great surprise, Brad Gibson is the 2016 Marblehead National Champion after beating a strong fleet at Datchet over the weekend.
Brad achieved a hugely impressive 10 first places out of 12 races.
Martin Roberts was the second British boat, finishing 4th overall.
