aka. drifting Dragons
Another day of light winds and drifting and another good turnout for the Dragonforces.
A good turnout with the return of a few faces for the final round of the final summer series for the season. Plenty of tight racing at the front end with Brad not having things his own way. Victoria sailed well for second, scoring a couple of race wins, with Emilio, Alan and Mike all scoring good results in the gusty on limit B rig conditions. Martin started well and faded as the day wore on and Lawrence showed plenty of promise for the future as he gets to grips with his new boat.
Thanks to Bernie and Bill for officiating.
Next week is the STREBOR Open for IOMs with a 10am start with a strong number of skippers expected. Make sure to get your entry to Graham Elliott if you are joining us.
Plenty of good racing coming up with the UK’s premier winter series at the club so if you are looking for good racing against some of the countries best skippers put the dates on this website listed in your diary.

11 races (12 boats including 1 visitor)
Despite storm “Brian” rapidly approaching, everyone started the racing with “A” rigs – very rapidly changing to “B” rigs as the wind picked up.
Water in electrics caused a few problems, not just because of submarining, but also due to the incessant rain!
