George Laverick, a long serving member of our club who managed to reach the age of 90 years has now sadly passed away. His funeral will be held at Landican on Thursday 9th February 2017 at 12.30pm.

There are currently roadworks at the Hoylake Road/Gautby Road junction preventing direct access to the clubhouse and lake from that end. Access is available as normal from the Wallasey Bridge/Stanley Road despite the “Road Closed” signs there.

Now cleared

There will be a sale/auction of unclaimed boats/equipment from the lockers this Saturday at 11am at the clubhouse. All proceeds to club funds.

Smaller items will be sold on the day (cash only, so take your wallet), with bids for larger items such as boats being accepted for consideration by the committee.

All club members that we have correct email details for should have already received an email giving further details and a schedule of items for sale. If you need more information, please contact the club Secretary Graham Birkett (details on the contact page)

Congratulations to our Commodore Bill Culshaw who has a little birthday to celebrate today.

Well a few of them anyway – so hopefully we can look forward to some slightly cleaner winds for the 2017 season.
