There were 15 competitors who turned out for this last day of IOM Racing before the 2026 IOM World Championships which starts on Sunday 17th May at Datchet Water Sailing Club. It was an opportunity for three of the GBR team (2 home boats and one visitor), to get some final practice.
With a less than promising forecast leading up to today, the weather gods shone down and we mostly had a good middle Top suit breeze and a sunny day. There were plenty of shifts and holes to catch the unwary out, but as usual, the cream rose to the top. Very close racing for most of the day, with any errors quickly punished and at leat 5 places dropped.
