A reminder to all that the M class will be sailing at West Kirby lake this coming Saturday and not at Gautby Road. Entry is open to non-club members.
Graham Elliott has requested that anyone planning on attending (club member or not) please contact him (elliottyachts@hotmail.co.uk) so that he has an idea of the number of people turning up.
(Graham is already aware of the following entries)
John Tushingham
Neil Westbrook
Colin Walton
Bill Culshaw
Graham Elliott
Dave Potter
Mike Parkington
John Smith
Due to unforeseen circumstances Andrew will not be available to host the vintage sailing day planned for this coming weekend. The clubhouse will therefore not be open and the event is cancelled.
Apologies for the late notice.
As there are several other regional races taking place on 7th and also the small matter of the England Quarter Final match taking place on the same day we have decided the racing is better moved to an alternative date to ensure a good turnout.
The IOM racing scheduled for 7th July will now be held on 11th August instead.
Due to the lack of entries for this Saturdays Marblehead racing at West Kirby Lake (30th June) the decision has been taken to cancel the event.
In case anyone hasn’t already heard, Brad Gibson successfully defended his Marblehead World Champion Title in Germany, making it 4 in a row.
There is an excellent report by Darin Ballington on the MYA website so I won’t bother repeating the details here, but once again congratulations to Brad.
