Winter Series Race 3, 17/21/11

Round 3 of the Birkenhead Club IOM Winter Series was sailed in strong B rig conditions that modereated over the afternoon where possibly A rigs could have been used for the last couple of races. Despite the cold, PRO Colin Smith kept racing moving quickly and an enjoyable day was had. Whilst the fleet numbers may have been slightly down due to the weather, some close racing took place.
Round 4 continues on 7th January 2012 with an invitation to GBR skippers to come and join in competitive IOM racing at Birkenhead.

Birkenhead MY&PC AGM Meeting

Birkenhead MY&PC AGM Meeting
12th November, 2.00pm

Dear Member,
This year we have secured Wallasey Yacht Club in New Brighton as the venue for our Annual General Meeting and Prize Giving. As in previous years we will have the AGM first, followed by the Prize Giving and the Buffet. Members are asked for contributions on the day towards the Buffet as we have done in previous years and Wallasey Yacht Club will be providing a bar selling both soft and alcoholic drinks. Wallasey Yacht Club has a large room with good facilities and the afternoon is open to members and their families. We hope that you can attend and an enjoyable afternoon will be had by all.
Many Thanks
