Dear Members,

Following the AGM and the mandate given to the Commodore to open discussions with Wirral Borough Council, 
I have had several telephone conversations with the Asset Management Department which resulted in a onsite meeting with their Representative and our Treasurer to-day. The meeting was constructive although no indication was given by the Representative on the Council’s position we had common ground and further discussions will take place.
I will keep you all informed if and when any progress is made.

This is your oppourtunity to have your say in how your club is run.
 
From all committee positions being up for nominations,
setting the 2015 Calendar, to what classes we sail and when…
 
This is the meeting where decisions need to be made and voted on.

The first IOM Winter Series race will start at 1.00pm, after the meeting. 

Attention Members

Due to confusion over dates, this coming Saturday will be an IOM Race as set down in the Calendar. There is no racing this coming Sunday 7th September.

The Sandylands Trophy will be raced for on Sunday 21st September with a 10am start.

The STREBOR Trophy will be raced for on Sunday 26th October with a 10am start.

Both of these above events are open races to all MYA members and will require your entry to be forwarded to Sailing Secretary Graham Elliott if you wish to sail.
